WWE Money in the Bank 2014 Results

John Cena won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match
(Def. Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Cesaro, Bray Wyatt, Kane and Alberto Del Rio)

The Champ is … well, you know.

With the wreckage of Cesaro, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Kane and a bloody Randy Orton surrounding him, John Cena scaled the rungs and notched the latest and potentially greatest of his historic victories to claim the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the first-ever Ladder Match to put the unified title up for grabs.

That WWE COO Triple H and WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon were ringside to witness The Champ’s ultimate triumph must have just been icing on the cake for Cena, who came out on the wrong side of history when the two World Titles were first unified at WWE TLC last December. As long as Cena’s list of championship wins is, this one was particularly impressive given that The Authority had not one but two representatives in the bout, and one of them – Kane – wasn’t so much a contestant in the classic sense as an insurance policy to make sure Orton was victorious again.

The bout that ultimately saw Cena anointed as the Champion of Champions did not immediately take on the chaotic atmosphere of the evening’s first Ladder Match for the Money in the Bank Contract, where bodies were sent soaring within moments of the opening bell. Instead, the eight Superstars in the main event mostly paired off into their recent rivalries, with Cena making a beeline for Wyatt and Cesaro grappling with Del Rio over control of a ladder. It didn’t take long for the battle lines to become blurred, though, with Bray hurling his body into said ladder, taking down both The King of Swing and The Essence of Excellence in one fell swoop.

Sheamus became the first man to lay hands on the two titles, although Kane quickly cleared the way for Orton to make a run up the rungs. Roman Reigns quickly answered, knocking Orton off his perch from halfway up the ladder. Adding insult to injury, The Apex Predator caught a blow to the head on the way down, rendering him bloody on the outside.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion made a speedy recovery though, reasserting himself after a precarious episode where Cesaro – dangling by one arm from one of the suspended championships – sent a similarly suspended Sheamus down to the canvas. After disposing of both Del Rio and the Irishman on the outside, The Apex Predator made his first genuine play to grab the titles, but unfortunately for him, the ring filled up in a matter of moments and a “mad scramble,” as Michael Cole called it, ensured for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Yet again, Kane proved himself to be The Authority’s most valuable asset in the contest by clearing the ring, but The Devil’s Favorite Demon ran into Sheamus before he could assist Orton. Kane suffered Ten Beats of the Bodhr├ín for his efforts, though the Irishman’s own dominance was short-lived and it was soon Cesaro’s turn to make another play for the titles. The King of Swing proved himself worthy of Paul Heyman’s representation by horizontally threading a ladder from the turnbuckle through the rungs of a vertical one (Swiss engineering at its finest) to create a steel-frame, house-like structure upon which he once again grappled over the titles with the resilient Sheamus.

To which, of course, Roman Reigns saw only one solution: Tip the whole thing over.

With the house of ladders literally teetering on the brink of collapse, Cesaro and Sheamus traded blows within reach of the titles until Cena literally righted the ship … at which point Kane, once again, took out all opposition. Reigns unleashed his biggest effort at this point, hurling his body beneath the rungs to Spear Kane in two – so much for superstition – and summarily cleaning house, Spearing and Superman punching everything in sight … except for John Cena, who found himself face-to-face with Reigns in an empty ring and a roaring WWE Universe foaming for the fight.

The first face-off between the present and future standard-bearers of WWE ended in a decisive advantage for Reigns, who broke free of the Attitude Adjustment and ricocheted off the ropes seamlessly into a Spear. Roman’s seemingly preordained destiny to climb the ladder was delayed once again, however, by Orton, who wrenched the big dog off the rungs into a backbreaker.

It was at this point, though, that every Superstar decided to make their big plays for victory, with the result resembling something of a 12-car pileup. First, Wyatt stormed the ring and drove Orton to the mat with Sister Abigail; Del Rio stopped him moments later with a kick to the face and was repaid moments later by Sheamus, who Brogue Kicked The Essence of Excellence into a stupor. Sheamus’ own attempt to climb the ladder was cut short yetagainby Cesaro, who sent him tumbling into a European uppercut; Orton then stopped The Swiss Superman from winning by swinging him off the ladder into an RKO.

The Apex Predator ascended the ladder once again and Reigns made his final play to cut his budding rival off at the pass. For a moment, it seemed like the former WWE Tag Team Champion had made good on his promise to become the Champion of Champions when he knocked The Viper off the ladder, but Kane yet again proved himself worthy of The Authority’s trust when he removed Reigns from the equation with a Chokeslam.

It was then that Cena seized the opportunity fate had presented him. With Kane and Orton alone in the ring and the titles ripe for the Viper’s taking, the Cenation leader made his play. First, he AA’ed an unsuspecting Kane and then delivered his signature maneuver to Orton, slamming The Apex Predator on top of Kane’s prone body for good measure before climbing the ladders and unhooking the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for his 15th World Championship reign.

And what a reaction he got from ringside: The Game, who had stacked the deck and rigged the odds in every way imaginable, nearly tore off his tie in frustration. Stephanie McMahon’s jaw all but hit the floor. John Cena scaled the turnbuckles with the two titles in hand – the very outcome The Authority had worked so hard to avoid all those months ago – and mocked them with the “You Can’t See Me” hand gesture. Of course, they could see him. In fact, if the trend holds, they’ll be seeing it for a long, long time to come, whether they like it or not. The Champ is here.

Seth Rollins won the Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match
(def. Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Rob Van Dam)

Great action filled with craziness. Ambrose was first "injured" and he had to leave. Then when Rollins had it won, the fans were chanting for Ambrose before he even came out and he wore out Rollins with chair shots. Ambrose had it won when Kane came out and gave Ambrose a choke slam and tombstone piledriver. Kane then held the ladder for Rollins to climb up to win. I have a feeling with Kane that this will play out in storyline form again with The Authority or Dean Ambrose at the finish. HHH & Stephanie came out to celebrate with Rollins.

All kinds of highlights, including Rollins taking a backdrop off near the top of the ladder onto a ladder bridge and the bounce knocked the ladder off where it was set. At another point Kingston was on the top of the ladder, the ladder was tipped over, and Kingston landed on the rope and did a springboard plancha to everyone on the floor. Swagger power bombed RVD off the ladder. Ambrose superplexed Rollins off the top of the ladder.

Randy Orton did a promo and said he wouldn't need The Authority's help to win like Rollins did. They teased the idea of Orton vs. Reigns later.

Money in the Bank Kickoff
DANIEL BRYAN'S ADDRESS

For the first time since The Authority stripped him of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan addressed the WWE Universe in an exclusive interview with Michael Cole on the Money in the Bank Kickoff.

After a rousing ovation of “Yeses” to welcome back the beloved WWE fan favorite, Cole asked Bryan about the neck injury that has kept him out of action since May 4 and for any updates on his much-anticipated return – as WWE fans watched around the world live on WWE Network, in addition to WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Pheed.

Bryan, unfortunately, didn’t have a timeline for his return, as he still has not regained all of the strength in his arm and his doctors are considering a second surgery. Bryan did have a promise for the WWE Universe and The Authority, “I’m going to be back and I’m going to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!”

In addition to Cole’s questions, WWE fans also tweeted their own inquiries for Bryan, using the hashtag #WWEKICKOFF. As he answered these varied WWE fan questions, Bryan revealed his picks for the biggest threats in the WWE World Heavyweight Title Ladder Match were John Cena, Randy Orton and the “incredible” Roman Reigns, and that he can’t wait to see the smug look wiped off Stephanie McMahon’s face.

As Cole was concluding the interview, “The Inspirational” Bo Dallas emerged and tried to share motivational words with the former World Champion, going so far as to tell him his injury must be “a pain in the neck.” Both Bryan and the WWE Universe, however, were not in the mood for Dallas’ pick-me-ups. After Bryan hilariously called the up-and-comer a “Bo-Ner,” he told him to “Bo-LEAVE” Boston’s TD Garden, as the WWE Universe showered The Beard with another chorus of “Yeses” to end the interview.

Magnificent Ladies of Wrestling Celebrates!!

 Message From MLOW

June 21st marks the 1year anniversary of The Queen of Destruction Destiny First year of ownership of Magnificent Ladies of Wrestling!! She is the owner , operator, and one of the wrestlers at MLOW!! Destiny and the wrestlers, crew, staff , fans , and customers have worked so hard this year to bring pride, dignity, and respect back to female wrestling and to the wrestling business. The company has been a huge success despite others tactics and schemes. Destiny motto is to give back respect, honesty , loyalty, and Quality of Wrestling! To be tough stand firm in your believes and your sport and TO NEVER GIVE UP!! She is pushing and fighting everyday to bring "old school wrestling" back the way it used to be with one exception and that's to show that females belong and work just as hard and should be respected by their peers in this business. She is also showing the ladies what it is to be a family bond together and have each other's back. As the first year as MLOW Owner Destiny reflects back on the success and growth of ladies wrestling and the many wonderful people who have been apart of the journey and companies success. Destiny quotes " With success of mlow comes a lot more responsibility and more knowledge as I started on this journey I didn't have a clue what all was in store for me but was ready for the challenge. I made mistakes but that was a learning process. The website was a huge challenge for me and we are still adding to it we plan on having a mobile app etc within the next couple of months and a whole new look. I wanted to bring old school back to wrestling and we are now making progress slow but surely I was trained old school and I expect all the ladies and gentlemen at MLoW to do the same.

I am proud to say that we not only have grown as a company but have paid it forward as well by doing benefits for the veterans, orphanages, St.Judes, nursing homes , families tornado victims and local school and everyone loves the reward of feeling like they have given back. We have had many challenges and obstacles but we have overcome them and will continue to do just that all the amazing people that re associated with MLOW and the future participants can move mountains and we are doing that by Loyalty, Respect, Honesty and being a tight kept family. I am relentless and do not know the word NO or CANT so with that being said The Future of Women's Wrestling is looking bright. MLOW and myself is featured in the upcoming documentary film and book by princess Victoria and Chris Amnino!! I'm very excited that we have interviews and footage featured in this. We have over 100 wrestlers in our company women and men across the world which you can see on the mLOW website or in worldwide Indy House Shows. As I entered the building at Mlow on our Anniversary I cried because not only had we made it a year but we are soaring with so many upcoming events and our MLOW

Ladies Tour is about to begin so that everyone worldwide can see the amazing talent. As everyone starts to arrive the congrats started coming and the more tears I shed. The talent had surprised me with a huge cake and cards !! It was the most amazing feeling. I love Wrestling and it's my passion not just a hobby. I embarked on this journey so that every female could have a place they called home and the new talent would have a place to learn and have more experience in our business. After the ladies speeches and hugs I knew I had accomplished what I set out to do. The girls all laughed because I kept saying we accomplished this and that and they all said NO Destiny you did it but like I told them NO We did it I purchased the company but it took all of us past and present to make it work!!! I LOVE ALL MY FAMILY AT MLOW TALENT,CREW, CUSTOMERS AND FANS!!!

I am so proud of our growth but the most important part is that everyone is a family and the past, present , and future will be the same as well!! As the taping wraps up I invited everyone to come to the house and swim , eat, and relax till we had to go to the show at ASW later that evening and they did just that we had a blast we all were smiling happy and making jokes !! That is what a family is all about spending outside of the ring together a bond that can never be broken. So as I end my story I want to Thank everyone involved with our sport, company, and MLOW and for Wrestling news Center for all your support!!! Help us make this Year even Bigger we do regular matches, hardcore matches, strap matches, street fight matches, lumberjack matches, battle royals and starting to do cage matches as well!!!
